Flight cases for loudspeakers & PA

Loudspeakers and subwoofers can take a lot — but corners, membranes and finishes suffer with every load-in. A custom case protects both the sound and the look of your rig.

Heavy rig

Wheeled cases with braked Blickle castors and folding handles — one person loads the whole set.

Scuffed corners

Metal corners and aluminium edges take the hits instead of your cabinets.

Warehouses and transfers

Stackable cases save space in the van and the warehouse.

What we build

Typical solutions in this category

  • Cases for speaker pairs with divided storage
  • Wheeled cases for subwoofers
  • Large-volume cases for a complete PA set
  • Trunks for stands, cabling and accessories

Typical real-world scenarios

Loudspeakers most often travel in pairs — we build cases for two cabinets with a centre divider, or transport lids with castors for subwoofers. For line array systems we handle sets: the case follows the cabinet’s shape and quantities match the flying configuration.

Lid, or full case?

For heavy subwoofers a wheeled transport lid is often enough — the cabinet rides on its own. For tops and more sensitive pieces a full padded case is better. We’ll advise based on what you carry and how often.

What we recommend for this category

  • Cases for cabinet pairs — centre divider, padding
  • Wheeled transport lids — subwoofers ride on their own
  • Shaped guides for line arrays — the set matches the flying configuration
  • Space for cabling and rigging — everything for the build in one

Common mistakes you’ll avoid

  • Cabinets loose in the van — scuffed edges and corners
  • A lid without locking — it slides off under braking
  • A case tight on the cabinet with no allowance for handles
  • Castors undersized for the sub’s weight

Z praxe: a sound rental company got a case set for 8 tops and lids for 4 subs. Unified marking, braked castors — faster load-in, and the cabinets ended the season without a scratch.

FAQ

What people ask

Can you build a case for a speaker pair?

Yes, a divided case for a pair of cabinets with soft contact between them is a common solution — saves space and time.

How do you handle subwoofer weight?

With a reinforced floor, robust running gear and dimensions designed for safe handling.

Can the cases be stacked?

Yes, on request we build stackable cases with corners prepared for safe stacking.

Can you build a case for my speaker model?

Yes — just the model or dimensions. We build the case for the specific cabinet, including allowance for handles and connectors.

Which is better: a case or a transport lid?

For heavy subwoofers a wheeled lid; for tops and sensitive pieces a full padded case. We’ll advise based on your operation.

Do you also handle amplifier cases for the set?

Yes — amplifier and processor racks complete the set, all with unified marking.

Will the case survive rental use?

Yes, the construction and hardware are built for rental fleets — and the hardware is replaceable.
