Drawer cases

A drawer case brings order to your equipment: every tool and part has its place, full-extension drawers won’t slam shut on a slope, and the contents stay visible even in the field. We build to measure around what goes inside.

Full extension with locking

Robust metal slides — the drawer pulls out fully, you can see and reach everything, and it won’t slam shut on its own.

Layout follows the contents

Drawer heights, dividers and foam inserts are designed around your actual tools and parts.

Built for daily use

Aluminium construction, metal corners and braked castors — the case rolls every day, for years.

Why full-extension slides

Cheap partial-extension slides are the most common weak point of drawer cases: you can’t see to the back, drawers close by themselves and the slides wear out fast. We use robust metal full-extension slides with locking, sized to the weight of the contents — the drawer carries tools and heavier parts and stays where you leave it.

Organisation that saves time

The biggest benefit of a drawer case isn’t transport but everyday work: a service technician finds the tool at a glance, and in the warehouse you instantly see what’s missing. We add labels, numbering and foam beds with coloured bottoms — a missing tool is visible immediately.

Typical dimensions & load capacity

We most often build drawer cases between 60–120 cm tall — from three large drawers to eight lower ones. Width and depth follow the contents: hand tools need a different depth than measuring instruments. Slides are sized to the weight of each drawer’s contents; tens of kilograms per drawer is routine. For long tools we add a long trunk as part of the set.

Drawers vs. compartments — when to use which

Drawers win when you need quick access to many smaller items (service, assembly). Compartments and shelves make sense for larger pieces and vertical storage (panels, instruments). The most common outcome is a combination: drawers below, compartments or open space above — try it in the 3D designer.

FAQ

What people ask

How many drawers can a case have?

Depends on the case height and drawer heights — typically 3 to 8. We design the layout around the contents; you can also try it in the 3D designer.

Can the drawers carry heavy tools?

Yes, we size the slides to the weight of the contents. For heavy parts we use reinforced slides.

Can the drawers have foam inserts?

Yes — CNC-cut foam with beds for individual tools, optionally with a coloured bottom for quick checks.

Can the drawers be locked for transport?

Yes, the drawers have locking and the case closes with lockable butterfly latches.

Do you also build drawer cases with a worktop?

Yes — the workstation combines drawers with a slide-out or fixed work surface.
