How an insert is made
We start from dimensions, photos or your equipment’s spec sheet. We design the bed layout — logically, by how the equipment is used — and CNC-cut the foam exactly to shape. The insert can be split into layers, removable as a whole (tray), or combined with spaces for cabling and accessories.
Foam belongs in a quality case
The insert is half the protection — the construction is the other half. It works best in a case with Hexagon panels and aluminium profiles that absorb impacts from outside. We build both together: a custom case with a custom insert, or just the insert for your existing case or trunk.
How precise the CNC cutting is
Beds are cut with millimetre precision — the instrument drops into the foam yet lifts out comfortably. For sensitive surfaces we add a softer contact layer; for heavy pieces a firmer load-bearing bottom. We design ergonomically too: most-used pieces on top, finger cut-outs for easy removal, labelled beds.
Foam for new and existing cases
Most often we build the insert together with a new case — interior dimensions then match exactly. But we can also cut for your existing case or trunk: interior dimensions and equipment details (dimensions, photos, or a loaned sample) are enough. When you upgrade your equipment, we make just a new insert — the case stays.
